1. Oliver Reed – Died Following Drinking Game
Oliver Reed was often recognized for his uber-macho roles in films like The Trap (1966), Oliver! (1968),Women in Love (1969), Hannibal Brooks (1969), The Devils (1971), The Three Musketeers (1973), Tommy(1975), Lion of the Desert (1981), and Castaway (1986). Unfortunately, he was perhaps even better known for his raging alcoholism and excessive binge drinking. During a break from filming the 2000 filmGladiator on May 2 1999, Reed entered a bar in Valletta, Malta, where he allegedly got caught up in a drinking game. In between drinks, he was stricken with a heart attack and fell out of his chair. He died on the way to the hospital at age 61.
