Early Life
Antonella Barba was born in Santa Monica, California on November 26, 1986, to Vincenzo and Valerie Barba. She moved with her parents to Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She began to play the violin at age four and later learnt how to play the violin. Antonella said children in her middle school and high school referred to her as the “violin girl” owing to her performances in talent shows.
She attended the Red Bank Catholic High School and participated in the choir for four years and was part of the school’s doo-wop group and as a senior, took a music theory course.
