Cher Lloyd was born on the 28th of July 1993 in Malvern, Worcestershire. She was no stranger at the X-factor auditions as she applied twice before, singing ballads. After a couple of attempts, Lloyd went away and reinvented herself as a hip-hop artist.

The then 16-year-old was ready to make an impact, as she performed her unforgettable version of Keri Hilson ‘Turn My Swag On’. This time, the judges sat up and took notice.
