2025 NLNG Graduate Trainee Programme.

The  NLNG Graduate Trainee Program seeks to offer employment opportunities to Nigerian graduates at the  Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) plant. The Nigeria LNG Graduate Trainee Program offers a very competitive monthly salary, a training experience, and employment opportunity for selected candidates to work with the oil and gas company.

The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee Program is a structured initiative aimed at attracting and developing young, talented Nigerian graduates to build successful careers in the energy sector. This program is designed to equip participants with the technical knowledge, professional skills, and hands-on experience required to thrive in various roles within NLNG’s operations. It serves as a platform for nurturing future leaders who will contribute to the sustainable growth of Nigeria’s gas industry and the nation’s economy at large.

NLNG Graduate Trainee Program

The program typically runs for one year, divided into two key phases. The first six months focus on intensive technical training and the development of soft skills, providing trainees with foundational industry knowledge and leadership competencies. The second half of the program emphasizes practical, on-the-job experience, where trainees are deployed to various departments to apply what they have learned in real-world scenarios. This dual-approach ensures that participants not only gain theoretical knowledge but also acquire practical insights into NLNG’s operations and business processes.

Eligibility Requirements For The NLNG Graduate Trainee Program

To be considered for the NLNG Graduate Trainee Program, you must meet the following criteria:

TRAINEE TECHNICIAN, candidate should:

  • Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Metallurgical or Instrumentation Engineering obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.

TRAINEE LAB ANALYST position, the candidate should:

  • Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Science Laboratory Technology obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.
    For the above-listed positions, candidates should also possess the following:
  • Proficiency in information technology, innovation, and digitalization.
  • Have completed NYSC not earlier than the year 2021.

OPERATOR Position, candidate should:

  • Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical, Instrumentation, Petroleum/Gas, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics /Electrical Engineering, obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level.
  • Have 4 years of working experience in LNG operations.
  • Have skill in LNG process and auxiliary operating areas (Gas Transmission, NG treatment, NG Pre-cooling and Liquefaction, Liquid Handling Unit, LNG utilities, Storage and Loading).
