The DeltaAfrik Foundation Scholarship helps improve education by creating opportunities for children and young adults in our communities. The Foundation exists for the purpose of executing DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited’s (“the Company”) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by impacting the communities around its operational base.
The foundation is funded by DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited as part of her corporate social responsibility (CSR). The funding is also supplemented by the contributions of partners and individuals with the passion of transforming their society and rekindling hope.
Beneficiaries receive an annual award of ₦150,000, which is renewable each year, contingent on maintaining excellent academic performance. The scholarship is open to Nigerian undergraduates enrolled in participating institutions across all fields of study. Applicants must demonstrate both financial need and indigence to qualify. This program emphasizes fostering educational opportunities within DeltaAfrik’s operational communities, supported by the company and contributions from philanthropic partners.
The DeltaAfrik Charitable Foundation (DCF) is a non-profit organization founded by Engr. Akin Odumakinde, the CEO of DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited, as part of the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Registered under Nigeria’s Companies and Allied Matters Act 2004, the foundation’s mission is to foster sustainable development and uplift communities, especially in areas where DeltaAfrik operates.
DCF focuses on several key areas: providing scholarships for undergraduate students, renovating public schools, and conducting health and medical outreach programs. The foundation also organizes skill acquisition initiatives, empowerment programs, and educational contests such as annual spelling bees for primary school students. These initiatives aim to rekindle hope and improve living standards in underserved communities.
Funding for the foundation primarily comes from DeltaAfrik Engineering, supplemented by contributions from partners and individuals passionate about social transformation. A sum of N150,000 will be presented to the awardees of the DeltaAfrik Foundation Scholarship.
