Foreign Freshman Scholarships 2022 at Ajou University in South Korea
Foreign Freshman Scholarships, South Korea is covering the tuition fee and dormitory fees of the international students at the Institution. The scholarship will be awarded based on the TOPIK and TOEFL iBT test scores.
The selected applicants will receive an 80% tuition waiver and dormitory semester support towards the undergraduate program undertaken at Ajou.
The Office of International Affairs provides strategic direction on Ajou university’s campus internationalization by operating various functions. Since its establishment in 1997, the OIA has developed significant partnerships with leading universities around the world to collaborate in global initiatives, international mobilities, and programs and to provide a multi-cultural environment for all Ajou university communities on campus.The Office consists of two teams: International Exchange and Cooperation Team and Global Initiatives Team. Along with the Office of International Affairs, the Center for International Education works very closely with the OIA to provide Korean language programs and culture to all international students.
The International Exchange and Cooperation Team is in charge of international partnerships, exchange programs, international visits and protocol, and non-degree programs including Ajou’s international summer/winter schools as well as other short-term study tour programs.The Global Initiatives Team works closely with many international partners to recruit competitive international students, oversees international students’ admission to the undergraduate degree program, and also provides basic adjustment, cultural services with international undergraduate students.
Ajou University, established in 1973 under the motto of “Asia’s best university for the 21st century”, is a leading research university with 11 colleges in Korea. Located in Suwon, about 30km south of Seoul, Ajou has 14,000 students (9,700 undergraduate, 3,700 graduate, and 500 in other courses). Eligibility for the Foreign Freshman Scholarships :
- Applicants must be overseas students
- Applicants must have to undertake the undergraduate degree.
- Applicants must have completed or will complete regular high school.
- Applicants must have TOPIK Level 6 or TOEFL IBT 100 or IELTS 7.5 or higher
