The Silesian University of Technology offers a scholarship for its best first semester international students of the first or second cycle in a full course of study within the Excellence Initiative- Research University programme.
The university will provide PLN 21,000 gross, and it will be transferred in 3 installments after each completed examination session at the university.
Students need to fulfil requirements confirming that they were among the best students at the previous level of education and the settlement of the first semester tuition fee to the university. This scholarship is available to students at the first or second cycle of studies, i.e. to bachelors or masters.
The Silesian University of Technology is a university located in the Polish province of Silesia, with most of its facilities in the city of Gliwice. It was founded in 1945 by Polish professors of the Lwow Polytechnic, who were forced to leave their native city and move to the Recovered Territories. In 2021, the prestigious Perspektywy Foundation ranked it as 6th best University of Technology in Poland and 13th overall.

- Applicants must fulfill requirements confirming that they were among the best students at the previous level of education and the settlement of the first-semester tuition fee to the university.
- Applicants must have required good English or Polish language. The standard translation of these documents into Polish or English is also accepted.
