The DHL GoTrade GBSN Fellowship Program is a collaborative initiative between the Global Business School Network (GBSN) and DHL, specifically designed to bridge the gap between postgraduate business education and practical industry experience in the realm of global trade. This unique fellowship program aims to empower and equip selected postgraduate business students with hands-on exposure to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across developing nations.
To advance the goal of enhancing management and entrepreneurial education, GBSN has collaborated with DPDHL, one of its corporate members, to introduce the GoTrade GBSN Fellowship Program. This unique initiative aims to pair chosen postgraduate business students with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing nations, focusing on facilitating increased cross-border trade. By doing so, they directly align with GBSN’s overarching mission: to enhance the availability of high-quality, contextually pertinent management and entrepreneurial education in emerging economies. GoTrade stands at the intersection of education and accessibility.
At its core, the program focuses on fostering greater cross-border trade by strategically partnering postgraduate students with SMEs in emerging economies. Through this partnership, fellows gain invaluable insights into real-world trade dynamics, tackling practical challenges, and understanding the nuances of conducting business on an international scale. Simultaneously, the SMEs benefit from the innovative ideas, fresh perspectives, and expertise brought in by these talented fellows, fostering mutual growth and development.
The Fellowship Program directly aligns with GBSN’s overarching mission of promoting access to high-quality management education relevant to local contexts in developing regions. By offering students a hands-on experience that supplements their academic learning, the initiative aims to enhance their skills, nurture their entrepreneurial mindset, and contribute to the economic development of the SMEs and the broader local communities in which they operate. Through GoTrade, the program endeavors to empower the next generation of business leaders, facilitating global trade and fostering sustainable growth in emerging economies.
