In partnership with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the University of Hohenheim offers a specialized scholarship opportunity for the M.Sc. Agricultural Economics as part of the “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses” (EPOS) initiative. To access the most current requirements and application procedures, kindly refer to the official webpage.
The DAAD EPOS scholarships aim to support exceptional candidates from developing countries with a robust academic and professional background. Successful scholarship recipients typically boast professional experience within a public authority, state institution, or private company in a developing country. Their involvement generally centers on planning and executing directives and projects related to development policies, emphasizing technology, economics, and/or social impact.
Students awarded the DAAD EPOS scholarship for the Agricultural Economics Master’s program will benefit from waived tuition fees for the two-year course duration. Additionally, they will receive health insurance coverage, a monthly living stipend, funding for travel to and from Germany, as well as research-related expenses (for detailed information and additional benefits, refer to the EPOS webpage). Moreover, an essential component of the DAAD EPOS initiative includes an intensive German language course conducted from August to September at a language center in Germany, prior to commencing the Master’s program.
