The new Die Presse Scholarship “Environmental Technology & International Affairs” is now open for application. This scholarship program is awarded to International students who are willing to undergo a degree program at TU Wien in Austria.
This interdisciplinary MSc Program is a joint program of the TU Wien and the Vienna School of International Studies – Diplomatische Akademie Wien. It is a pioneering project in its combination of international issues and environmental technology.
Over the last few years environmental challenges have taken on a new urgency on a local, regional and global level. In particular, issues regarding the protection and sustainable use of environmental resources have become an existential concern. This puts increasing demands on decision-makers, who require a broad knowledge and understanding of the political, legal, economic and technical issues involved. Everybody concerned, whether as representatives of ministries, international organizations, NGOs or the private sector, has to deal with an ever increasing range of environment related questions.
This postgraduate MSc Program enables graduates to understand and analyze the relevant scientific and technical issues at the same time as providing them with a sound knowledge of international affairs in order to deal with both current and future challenges concerning the environment and sustainable development.
Eligibility criteria for the Die Presse Masters Scholarship For The Program Environmental Technology & International Affairs
- Applicants must have a Baccalaureate degree, a Magister degree or an internationally recognized first degree in any field of study.
- Applicants must have an excellent command of English.
- Applicants must have excellent grades from previous educational programs.

Value Of Scholarship: The daily newspaper “Die Presse” will again award a scholarship in the amount of EUR 13,300 this year, thus contributing indirectly to the solution of problems relevant for environment at an international level.
