Lewis & Clark Law School will be providing tuition fee relief to exceptional students who are interested in studying a degree program at the Institution.Lewis & Clark Law School is a top law school in the greater Northwest region of the United States, and the only law school in Portland, Oregon. Affiliated with Lewis & Clark College, the law school is located on a separate campus, adjacent to the college and to the beautiful Tryon Creek State Park.
Lewis & Clark’s history dates back to 1884, as Oregon’s first state law school. They established their independence from the public institution 31 years later, becoming the private Northwestern College of Law. The 2015-16 academic year marked the centennial of that pivotal event.
In 1965, They merged with Lewis & Clark College and took on the current official name: the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. Soon after, they moved to the present location, a short walk from Lewis & Clark’s undergraduate campus.
Once exclusively a night program, They began expanding their offerings in 1970 to include an extensive range of daytime classes. During the subsequent decade, Lewis & Clark rose from a position as a highly respected regional institution to national prominence, distinguished for our legal education, research, and service.
Lewis & Clark received ABA accreditation in 1974.
Lewis & Clark Law School awards scholarship aid to a significant percentage of each year’s entering class and to current upper-division students in a variety of different awards. Over 98% of all incoming students typically receive a scholarship or grant, and all scholarships for incoming students are unconditional. Students need not maintain a certain GPA or class rank for their merit scholarship to renew annually.
Eligibility for the Merit Scholarships 2022 at Lewis & Clark Law School:
