Scuola Normale Superiore Postdoctoral Scholarship Grant
Wonderful news! The Scuola Normale Superiore is giving 75 postdoctoral scholarships for four years to both international and domestic students in the country.
These scholarships provide comprehensive coverage, including tuition and a grant to pay board and lodging expenses. Furthermore, regardless of country, all students will have access to additional funds to support their research endeavors, even if they are undertaken abroad.
Candidates who have shown great academic achievement and significant progress in their thesis work are guaranteed a doctoral fellowship from Scuola Normale Superiore. Furthermore, for each postgraduate program, a seat is designated solely for individuals who have received a legitimate qualification from a foreign university and wish to compete. All students, regardless of background, will be eligible for additional funding to assist their research activities, even if they are undertaken on a global scale.

- Classics: 1 scholarship under the Cultural Heritage program for “Art, archeology, and History in the Greco-Roman world: edition and interpretation of catalogs and corpora.”

Scuola Normale Superiore Postdoctoral Scholarship Selection Criteria:
To be eligible for the Scuola Normale Superiore Postdoctoral Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Proficiency in both English and Italian languages.
- Open to applicants from all countries, including Italian citizens and students from outside Italy.
- Possession of a master’s degree from an Italian university or an equivalent qualification from a non-Italian university by October 31, 2022.
- Candidates must have been born after October 31, 1990.
